$13 million Wirra penthouse sets Neutral Bay off the plan apartment record A local downsizing couple has spent a record $13 million on the penthouse in Podia’s new Neutral Bay apartment development, Wirra.

The size of the apartment, at 200 sqm, and the location of Wirra, on Ben Boyd Road next to Neutral Bay Village, were the two contributing factors for the couple. The apartment has three bedrooms, four bathrooms, and parking for three cars. The buyer hadn’t initially been searching in Neutral Bay.

Wirra joins Podia’s portfolio of growing projects including the new luxury hotel-apartment development The Bonobo by Raes in Byron Bay, in partnership with hotel and hospitality brand, Raes. The project sits opposite Merivale’s hospitality redevelopment of the former Cheeky Monkey’s.

Wirra Neutral Bay, a collaboration between Podia and Centennial, has been designed by MHNDU with interiors by Richards Stanisich. Ultra Building Co will build Wirra, which is slated for completion in Q1 2026.
